Meet the Team

Ariana Mahban, AMFT

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Hello, I’m Ariana! I am passionate about empowering young adult women and couples to move through life's challenges with more confidence and clarity. My areas of focus include eating disorders, relational issues, and relational trauma.

In my practice, I offer support to those on a healing journey from narcissistic abuse, seeking self-identity, facing career challenges, or dealing with body image concerns. My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic, relational, person-centered, and evidence-based modalities—striving to blend depth psychology with solution-focused strategies. My goal is to provide a safe space for clients to share their deepest thoughts, painful feelings, and life stories, helping to unearth the answers to their healing and growth that lie within. Simultaneously, we will work together to conceptualize problems and collaborate on developing solutions that create progress in areas where they feel stuck.

In my work with couples, I apply Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) to enhance understanding of disruptive patterns and the core emotions that drive them, intending to build healthier and more supportive partnerships.

Tiffany Dunion, AMFT

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Hi, I’m Tiffany! I recognize that it can take much energy to try and find a therapist that feels like a good fit, especially if you’re feeling trapped by anxiety or hopelessness. I believe you deserve a space of limitless compassion, care, and dignity.

My therapeutic practice is holistic and integrative and considers the influence of broader social, economic, cultural, and environmental contexts. I have formal training in Narrative Therapy, known for the saying,  “The person is not the problem. The problem is the problem.” My therapeutic style is inquisitive and open-minded. We will collaborate to access your wisdom, knowledge, and imaginative potential. Our sessions will support you in exploring how to embody your preferred ways of being and identifying in the world. In addition to Narrative Therapy, I incorporate somatic mindfulness interventions to deepen your mind-body connection. By working with me, you will experience a deeper connection to yourself and a greater sense of personal agency.

I have studied and worked in a variety of holistic alternative healing practices including teaching mindfulness to children, teaching traditional Hatha yoga as a certified 200-Hour RYT yoga instructor, and assisting Indigenous healing practices in the traditions of the Yawanawá and Katukina people. I am experienced in providing therapeutic services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. Collectively, these experiences have informed and inspired my genuinely holistic approach to therapy. My appreciation for ecology, myth, story telling, contemplation, creative expression, play, spirituality, and humor also influence my practice.

Daniella Basin, AMFT

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Hi, I'm Daniella. My therapeutic style is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and change, and I work collaboratively with my clients to help them tap into their own innate wisdom and resources.

Through a combination of empathy, active listening, and evidence-based interventions, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where my clients can explore their innermost thoughts and feelings.

When I’m not in the therapy room, I enjoy thrifting, cooking, and spending time with my animals. One of my favorite hobbies is to DIY anything and everything!

My therapeutic work is culturally-sensitive and trauma-informed. My clinical approach is rooted in safety, trustworthiness, and warmth. I focus on providing compassionate care and employ an integrative approach in my clinical practice, which pulls from client-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral therapies. I am deeply committed to providing a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences without judgment.

I have experience working with domestic violence survivors, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and family conflict. I have supported high-acuity clients with comorbid disorders in a treatment setting, addressing the root causes of their addiction to support lasting recovery. Currently, I am specializing in eating disorders.
